We offer an extended range of excursions, (school)activities, workshops and exhibitions, with attention for nature, culture and durability. The current program can be found in the activity calendar on our website. Enthusiastic volunteers are more than willing to provide you with more information about the nature reserve Leudal. Activities can also be arranged on request. We are happy to help you.
Tourist information and shop
In Visitor center Leudal’s shop you will find a lot of practical tourist information, but also many all sorts of fun gift items, such as delicious local products, nature books and guides, books on the history of Leudal and other nature trinkets.
The Leudal museum regularly hosts temporary exhibitions. On the top floor of the Visitors’ Centre, you can admire a permanent collection in the field of archeology, local history, nature and World War II. Admission to the museum is only € 2.00.

Several organizations are located in visitor center Leudal:
The volunteer group Green Heart Leudal organizes activities in the nature reserve, in the Visitor Center and in schools. Activities can also be organized on request, such as children’s parties, neighborhood associations or companies.
The study-group Leudal is committed to the conservation, restoration, protection and study of the cultural-historical, scenic and scientific values of the Leudal and its surroundings.
Velt is the Society for Ecogical Living and Gardening (Vereniging voor Ecologisch Leven en Tuinieren). Healthy living to the rhythm of the seasons. And this with respect for nature.
Directly bordering the Visitor center Leudal there is a popular resting place for nature lovers. Located amid many hiking and cycling routes, this is the perfect place to enjoy coffee and cake, a delicious meal or a refreshing drink. For our opening times, go to our website.
The Monument of Tolerance is located in the visitor center Leudal’s garden. This monument provides a permanent reminder of the war years 1940-1945 and the over 700 soldiers of 11 nationalities in the Leudal Region that have lost their lives.
In Visitors center Leudal’s garden, there is a beehive hall owned by the Beekeeper Association Roer- and Leudal. The homemade honey is for sale in the Visitors Center shop.
